We sure can't believe how fast the time goes, especially the dog days of summer. Since Summer is approaching its end (YEAH!), I thought I'd share some of the fun that I did this summer.
Daddy's work went to Lagoon for their summer party. I was finally able to go on more rides this year, and was just shy of 36 inches, which is where I needed to be to go on more rides. Oh well, next year, I'll be all over the place!
Bulgy the Whale
Some Voltron looking robot rideTeacups (Daddy was brave enough to go on the ride with us because we didn't spin the cup)
Boats (like father (1982ish), like son (2013))
For the 24th of July, we went up to Kamas (where Grandpa grew up). We went to the rodeo and watched the fireworks. I thought it was fun to watch the cows and horses!
We went to our friends' (the Larkins) adoption party. They just completed their adoption of 5 kids through foster care, and so they threw a big carnival party with popcorn, cotton candy, snow cones, horseback rides, photo booth, face painting, and balloon animals. It was so much fun, and we are so excited for the Larkins!
We went up the canyon to roast hot dogs. I had fun picking up rocks and throwing them in the stream.
I LOVE SMORES!
At the beginning of August was Midvale City's Harvest Days. Daddy grew up in Midvale, so we went back to watch the parade. (We could have had a really awesome picture when the flag went by because I was putting my hand over my heart, but Daddy didn't think about it - oh well!)
That night, we went to the Ryan Shupe concert at Midvale park. I had fun dancing all around.
Then there were fireworks after the concert. I snuggled with Aunt Neenee (Janeen).
With all of the summer activities, it's nice to just sneak in a little nap now and then.
BRING ON FALL!
