Here Fishy Fishy Fishy

Yesterday was Free Fishing Day in Utah (i.e. no fishing license required).  I wish fishing was as easy as this:

Daddy, Grandpa and I went to Deer Creek to go try our luck at fishing.
Grandpa helped me learn how to hold on to the fishing pole.  He also let me hold a wiggly worm!
We caught something...a snag!
I sure was trying to catch a fish.

Maybe if I tried using the net I'd be able to catch something.
Unfortunately we didn't catch anything.  We did see 3 fish jump, and a group across the way from us caught one.  Maybe next year.

I did decide to dress up like grandpa though.
We had a nice little picnic after fishing.  It was a fun day!

These Are the Places to Have Fun

I can't believe how fast May came and went!  We did have a lot of fun in May - Mother's Day (cooked Mommy eggs and toast to eat in bed); went to Logan for a weekend (went to lots of parks and lots of drives); and Memorial Day (went to Special Angel Grandma's grave).  However, the highlights for the month were going to This is the Place Heritage Park and Jungle Jim's.

It was the last day of Heritage Park's petting zoo.  The weather was perfect and the crowd was non-existent so we were able to have a lot of fun!  I got to go on a horseback ride:
The goat was so friendly - I was so happy to play with it.
I'm thinking of becoming a farmer when I grow up - that is, if all cows are this easy to milk:
I had fun going on the trains - the engineers were very friendly.
We also went to Jungle Jim's last night - I had so much fun on the rides.  This was my favorite ride:
Sissy had fun going on this ride, although it probably went a little bit too fast for her.
What a great way to end the month of May!
